My daughter and I had treatments together and we walked out of there on a cloud. Yoshimi and her staff are so warm and welcoming. My scalp and hair treatment was so relaxing I literally fell asleep in the massage chair. After the treatment we were treated to the most delicious green tea and a snack. Thank you again for such a unique and wonderful experience!

My mother and I went for a relaxing head massage, and it was absolutely wonderful! We truly enjoyed the experience and loved the scalp treatments. From start to finish, we were treated with such care, and we left feeling completely relaxed and refreshed. I would highly recommend booking an appointment!

This place is an absolute GEM! Tucked away just off King St., Head Spa is a tranquil oasis! I’ve been watching TikTok videos of Japanese head spas for years wishing we’d get this amazing service here in Hawaii. I love that this place is focused on the head spa experience as the primary service with other convenient add-ons like facials and targeted massage. Their products smell fantastic- light, clean, and calming- but not too strong. I chose the neck and shoulder massage head spa, which was just what the doctor ordered on a Friday evening after a long week at work. Scalp scrub, deep shampoo, even deeper conditioning, and a head massage that sent me into the deepest level of relaxation I’ve experienced in a long time. Had a little blow dry and some treats with water at the end of my service. The staff was kind and welcoming, so even though I never experienced a head spa before, they made sure I knew exactly what to expect and felt comfortable the entire time. I can’t recommend this enough!

Today I got the unplug 60 minute scalp massage, focusing on your neck to relieve tension from staring at screens. I genuinely felt relief in my face, head, and neck. I never fall asleep during massages, but towards the end I actually nodded off. I was greeted immediately when walking in. The environment is so calm and clean, and the service is performed in a fancy heated massage chair. There is a light fuzzy blanket they put on you that makes it so cozy! I have 3c/4a hair and was a bit nervous that my hair might tangle, to be honest, but my therapist Katie O was so gentle. At the end of the session, I chose to dry my hair myself, but she offered me several types of detangling brushes for the drying process including the tangle teezer. There are some styling products there as well. The checkout process was easy, and I felt comfortable storing my things in the lockers. I will be returning and recommending! The only downside was parking; I ended up using the metered street parking, but the meters take card as well.

Wow. This place is amazing. I had the best head spa ever. It was so relaxing and my scalp is so clean. You get to lay on this massage chair that is set at zero gravity while you get a head spa treatment. My whole body felt so good where I felt so light and in a daze for hours. Don’t miss out and get your treatment. I was already thinking of when I can come back when I left.

The head spa treatment was amazing from the moment I walked in until the very end. The owner is very sweet, kind and professional who greeted me upon entrance and closed out the service with beverages and snacks. I would highly recommend booking with Nakaia for your preferred treatment. Nakaia provided a very relaxing and comfortable treatment, my hair and scalp feel amazing! The massage was just what I needed in my neck and shoulder area and Nakaia gave the perfect pressure. The atmosphere is clean, calm and comfortable and the massage chairs feel amazing too! I will definitely be back!

It was my first time going to Head Spa and let me tell you, it was fantastic! The owner greeted me and my family with the utmost gratitude. She was very professional, friendly, and took time to tell us what to expect in our treatment. The establishment was very warm and cozy and my treatment was very relaxing and therapeutic. I really enjoyed the massage chair and my therapist was very skilled in what she does. I would definitely come back and would recommend this service for everyone who loves to be pampered.

I had such a wonderful experience at this head spa. I appreciated that they explained each step of the facial in advance so I knew exactly what to expect. The massage chair along with Katy’s facial and head, neck, and hand massage was lovely. She created such a relaxing experience from start to finish. A bit sad that I don’t live in Hawaii because I would sign up for a monthly membership. I’ll just have to make sure I come back next time I’m in town!

I have terrible scalp psoriasis and had a flare while on vacation in Honolulu. I wanted relief, I had never been to a head spa before so I gave it a try and really wish I had gone at the beginning of my trip. Maki was wonderful, so gentle and sweet. I would do this again and again. I’m now home searching for a head spa where I live. 5 stars!!
